ABA Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)

After completing the intake process, NCR Behavior Services will conduct a Functional Behavior Assessment.  This collaborative process will entail the BCBA interviewing you, observing your child, conducting standardized assessments and discussing your priorities for your child's development.  Once this process is completed and the FBA is written, it will be submitted to your insurance company with a recommendation for treatment hours and a request for authorization of service.

Direct Intervention ABA 1:1

Following the authorization of services by your insurance company, direct intervention 1:1 will begin.  This service consists of a Behavior Technician who will come to your home to work directly with your child on the goals and skills outlined in the FBA.  They will target goals with your child through use of Pivotal Response Teaching strategies collect data on your child's responding, and provide valuable insight to you and your case supervisor regarding your child's sessions.

ABA Supervision and Consultation

The BCBA on your child's team will conduct Supervision/Protocol Modification and Parent and Staff Consultation.  They will oversee the Behavior Technician's work, provide feedback and support on their implementation of goals, model strategies, and update your child's treatment plan accordingly.  They will review data and make data informed decisions after communicating and collaborating with you.  They will provide parent and staff consultation to ensure that you're developing your skillset and repertoire of strategies to best support your child and that any other stakeholders (teachers, grandparents, etc.) are aware of strategies as well..
