Pivotal Areas of Treatment: The NCR Way of ABA

Motivation

The most effective way to learn is to make learning enjoyable.  Through the use of Pivotal Response Teaching we make learning fun and meaningful for your child by capitalizing on their motivation.

Initiations

We work to support your child in developing the skills necessary to learn now and ongoing.  Teaching skills like question asking, sharing materials, and initiating socially supports short term and long term growth and education.

Responding to Multiple Cues

Supporting your child in attending to salient attributes (e.g., color, size, location, quantity, etc.) helps them to engage in their environment and learn how to focus on relevant stimuli while forgoing the rest.

Self-Management

Our goal is to increase the independence of our learners while decreasing their dependence on others (teachers and clinicians).
